51 Years of Blessings!

Today is my parent's 51st wedding anniversary. They were married July 7, 1957. My mom always says how easy it is to remember their anniversary...7-7-57. Last year, they threw a huge party to help celebrate their 50th anniversary. They were blessed to have many of you were in attendance. This year they are celebrating privately in the comfort of Mom's hospital room.

I have uploaded some of their wedding photos, along with some photos taken of them over the years. The most current is of Dad & Mom sitting together when we celebrated Mom's 71st birthday with a "you are special" ice cream sundae bar. They look so happy together in all these delightful photos. Time may change their outside package but the heart remains forever the same! What joy fills my heart to see them this way.

My parents have had their ups and downs over the years. After all, they are the parents of Mark, Stasi & I and we haven't always been the easiest children to raise! But through all of life trials and tribulations, they have had each other. They truly love each other and delight in each others company greatly. They are devoted to each other which is easy to see. I am so proud to have them as my parents and praise God for them. We all pray that the Lord will bless them with many more years of marriage in the future. We also know that only knows God knows our appointed days. With this in mind, my parents are most grateful for TODAY.

Happy 51st Anniversary Dad & Mom! I love and cherish you. May God abundantly bless you both on your special day.
