At Mom's request, Lillie, Dennah & I are heading to California for a visit on Thursday. The plan is for us to stay a week and for the girls to serenade Mom with their violins. Mom is determined to hear the girls play again and the only way for this to happen is for them to come to her. We are excited for this opportunity to bless Grandma!
Mom has been struggling with low blood pressure. Yesterday morning it was 70/40...not good! It was even mentioned that with blood pressure this low Mom has the possibility of not waking up one morning. This was Mom's motivation to get the girls to come play for her now. Even with this less than encouraging news, Mom is taking everything in stride and is her ever cheerful self.
While in California, I hope to stay in better touch with updates and photos since high speed wireless will be readily available. With a dial-up system that goes out when it rains, my opportunities to post have been very limited lately. For this I am sorry. Lord willing, the next post will be on Thursday reporting a safe arrival into California and a joyful reunion with Mom & Dad!
