Today is Mom's 72nd birthday! One year ago today, Mom was here in Oklahoma celebrating her birthday with her "favorite" daughter and "what a guy" son-in-law and eight of her delightful grandchildren. It was a very good day. Below is a photo of Mom and Dad taken on her 71st birthday. It is one of my favorites.

Stasi, Mom, Dad and Tamy~ This was taken at Asilomar during one of our annual quilt class retreats. Stasi made these blocks to put in a Storybook quilt about Mom. "I'm fine" is what Mom always says no matter what her actual condition may be...always the optimist!

Thank you so much for the update on Dianne. The pictures are wonderful and the ones of her on the beach are special. She is an amazing woman and an inspiration to many of us. I have just returned to Vallarta and wish that I could just hop upstairs to visit with her. She is in my prayers. Mayo and I loved our visit with Bob and Dianne over a year ago and it was special getting to know some of the family..I send my love to all. Margaret Tolton
